Medical Qi Gong Practices
Ba Dua Jin, the Eight Pieces Brocade is a classical Qi Gong series that clears and activates the meridians of the body, improves Qi circulation in the organs, and leads to improved immune function, energy, and overall health. It is attributed to General Yue Fei, who is said to have developed the form in the 12th century for his troops to practice daily. This series of simple and gentle but very powerful exercises remains popular because it is so effective and supportive of health and healing.
The 18 Movements were originally developed by Master Li Houshen in 1979 at the Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in Shanghai. It is the most popular form of Qi Gong and is practiced by millions of people in South Asia. These 18 movements were originally developed for rehabilitative purposes but are extremely beneficial for everyone and can be practiced at any age or in any health condition.
